Many of our customers have asked us to come with a new food plot mix so
Kester’s developed this new Annual mix. After many years of trial and
error, this new mix has proven to be very successful.
A mixture of Wheat, Oats, Rye, Deer forage Radish, and other high
quality forage grains that will stay
green into the winter months providing excellent food source for deer. This
annual mix will also work great for early bow season because of the key
ingredients oats and radishes.
Kester's Fall Blend can be planted in late summer or early
fall for best results. It also will grow in a wide variety of soils even
clay or sandy conditions. As long as you get adequate rain
and add a little fertilizer you can't go wrong.
Kester's Fall Blend works best if planted with a
grain drill, it can be broad cast seeded also. When broadcasting
by hand, make sure not to plant to thick.
Plant 20 to 30 pounds per acre.
